President of Beni Suef University: 6 million pounds to connect Internet cables to the faculties of 330-acre compound

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, said today, that 6 million pounds have been allocated to connect Internet cables to the university's colleges in the 330-acre compound in the east of the Nile in preparation for the implementation of hybrid education during the new academic year 2020/2021. This was during his meeting with faculty members, faculties' Vice-Deans, Secretary General of university and the employees, in the presence of Dr. Sameh Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Mohi Mutawea, Dean of the College of Al- Alsun, and Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Dean of the College of Developmental Social Work.
Prof. Dr. Mansour confirmed that a meeting was held today in order to listen to the opinions of employees and faculty members as part of a series of successive meetings for all faculties of the university before the start of the new academic year, explaining that the construction of the halls building in the Industrial Education Compound with capacity of 5,000 students will be completed during the current month.
Prof. Dr. Mansour added that starting from today, a number of buses were run inside the compound throughout the day to transport students and employees to the colleges in order to provide all facilities for them, stressing that the university's auto unit system witnessed a major boom during the current period after raising the efficiency of buses to transport faculty members and 5 lines will be operated during the new academic year to transport them to the three compounds of the university.
The university president directed the faculties' deans to inform the faculty members and employees of each college about what went on within the university council and the decisions that had been taken, and added that 6 acres were purchased at a cost of 11 million pounds to establish a social club for the university, directing the necessity of holding a council of faculty directors monthly in the presence of the Secretary General of the university and the assistant secretaries to discuss what is related to the colleges before the meeting of University Council.
