Announcing the application for the Pioneers of Digital Egypt initiative

The Pioneers of Digital Egypt Initiative is a free grant from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. It was announced during the opening of a number of educational facilities by the President of the Republic. It aims to give young people the ability to implement Egypt’s digital vision. The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology launched the Pioneers of Digital Egypt Initiative in December 2023, with the aim of achieving leadership in information and communications technology by building skilled and creative cadres capable of leading the digital transformation process.


In view of the main and fundamental role of Egyptian universities in qualifying young people and developing their scientific and practical skills to build a better future, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology aims to maximize its role with Egyptian universities to support Egypt’s digital initiatives.


The objectives of the initiative are to develop the skills of students and graduates in modern technologies, provide the appropriate environment for young people to start their own businesses on self-employment platforms, and qualify students and graduates to join distinguished jobs in the information and communications technology sector.


The initiative is implemented in cooperation with major local and international companies specialized in developing technological skills. The companies organize many activities, including training courses to build youth capabilities and practical workshops, and contribute to enriching the educational process.
